At Wise, we are super excited to share some really positive business news from 2022.
Bill Prettyman, CEO of Wise, took the time to put together a roundup video thanking the approximately 250 employees of Wise for making 2022 a great year. In the video, Prettyman heartily thanked all employees of Wise for their valued contribution to the business.
“I’m very appreciative and grateful for the work each of you did to contribute to the company’s success last year,” Prettyman said. “Any company only has one asset that appreciates over time, and that’s its people. At Wise, we know that the best ideas will always come from our people who are out there doing the work.”
Prettyman then shared with Wise employees some of the successes of 2022. Here are five key highlights:
- Revenue was up by double digits. Profitability was up, as well.
- Wise saw the payoff of its investment in its labels business. Wise invested heavily in its label business, and the investment paid off. Revenue from the labels business grew more than 30%.
- Wise relocated the labels plant to Anderson, SC. This move was necessary to accommodate the growth in our labels business and more than doubled the square footage of our labels operation.
- Four major distributorships grew their partnership with Wise. If you are one of these (or our many other valued reseller partners), you know why. We care about our customers and value our employees—and it shows in our 2022 results!
- Wise continued to see excellent results from its investment in lean. Lean is a continuous improvement methodology that focuses on eliminating waste and improving efficiency in all aspects of an organization’s operations. The result of our investment in lean, Wise has continued to see reduction in our waste, increases in our productivity, and increased value extended to our customers and employees.
